RADIO ACCOUNTING AUTHORITY (RAA)
In accordance with International Telecommunication Union radio regulations, every maritime mobile radio station must have an internationally recognized accounting authority that acts as billing intermediary between the ship’s station and service provider. All maritime communications traffic my be prefixed with the officially recognized accounting authority identification code, or AAIC, of the accounting authority responsible for the settlement of the ship’s radio accounts. POINT OF SERVICE ACTIVATION (PSA)
Inmarsat is a British satellite telecommunications company that provides global mobile communications services, both telephone and data, to users worldwide, via portable or mobile terminals that communicate with ground stations through thirteen geostationary telecommunications satellites.
“Point-of-service activation” is process of registering a new or modified Inmarsat terminal, also known as a mobile earth station, for service on the Inmarsat network.

To register a new or modified Inmarsat terminal, all the user or company needs to do is complete one of the three service activation forms (each are in PDF format), sign it, and send to us.
